Mike Cerelli was introduced to me by an arborist as a specialist who has the knowledge and machinery to move large trees. So, when one of our three beautiful 35’ River Birch died I called him with the hope that he might purchase the two remaining trees and replant with three trees of similar heights. When Mike visited to assess the trees, prior to them developing leaves, he confirmed that one was dead and that the other two looked too sparse to move but he did give me a reasonable quote to remove the trees and roots and replant three new trees. I’ll never forget the morning the work was being done when the dead tree had been removed and Mike was standing, hands on hips, looking at the two live trees shaking his head and said, “I just can’t do it, I just can’t take a saw to these”. I’ve never met anyone who loves trees the way Mike does. He decided to dig the trees and move them to his tree farm and provide me with a credit if they survived the move.
Since that time, I’ve had Mike’s company plant an additional four trees as well as repair and reinstall our paver stone pool patio and prune our 80+ plant boxwood hedge. In every occasion the work was done competently with complete clean-up afterword’s leaving our property looking enhanced. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable, communicative and easy to work with. I highly recommend Cerelli Tree Farm for not only tree stock but for hardscaping as well.
